The Story of the Blues on Netflix.ca

The Canadian Netflix has an interesting documentary about The Story of the Blues.

The description says: Putting a label on the blues sound used to be a much simpler task. But since the genre has transformed itself and evolved into what it is today, it's not so straightforward. From the early days (when the music was used to pass time doing fieldwork) to the legendary sounds of B.B. King, blues has remained an iconic part of music history. This documentary explores the major guiding principles behind the genre and consults top blues musicians.

Rita Chiarelli - Blues or Rock ?

Rita Chiarelli was born in Hamilton Ontario to Italian /Canadian immigrant parents.
At age fifteen Rita started performing her brand of music comprised of folk, blues, jazz and rock.
Rita Chiarelli has performed all over the world, including her native Canada ( from coat to coast).
Rita has a JUNO win and four nominations, and has won multiple Maple Blues Awards, Canadian Folk Music, and Toronto Independent Music awards.

JFL Green Clown Noses?

Imagine my surprise when I saw green clown noses at the Just For Laughs festival.
And they light up. It has an LED and 2 watch batteries. I was told the batteries lasted about 2 days or so. So I spent $2.00 (CDA) and got one.
And I videotaped a guy fixing one of them.

I decided to post a video segment and see the results

Well, I spent quite a few hours capturing and than trial'n'error rendering of this small video clip!
I shot it on the closing day of the Just For Laughs Festival 2005 in Montreal.
I thought it quite funny so I'm posting it now, hoping to hear what others have to say about it.
I don't like this codec experiment but I'm hungry so I'll post this one for now.
